RESILIENCE

When you discover that the professional opportunity that you thought would be the ideal next step - although your intuition warned you not to accept the offer! – and instead, it became a traumatic, nightmare experience, it takes courage to walk away. Resilience is required to reassess, reexamine priorities and determine your next best move.

Resilience is the ability to recover and land on your feet, standing tall, confident that even negative experiences are designed specifically to teach us valuable lessons about ourselves.

When you make an important, difficult decision to change the direction of your life; and you pack up and leave a place where you have lived comfortably for more than three decades, resilience enables you to know that you have made a wise decision. You can rest assured that you will do more than simply survive, you will actually thrive.

How do you know this? It is a mind, body and soul affirmation. Throughout my life experiences, resilience has sustained me. In my book, Journal Reflections With 2020 Vision, read 1970 to learn more about experiences with resilience in my youth.

Resilience yields the gift of endurance!
